Britannia Airport

I parked my car in Britannia car park for 20 minutes before returning it to the hire company in order to check in to the hotel. One month later I received a charge of £100. During a previous overnight stay, I slipped and fell against the toilet in the bathroom due to no bathmat available and only 1 small hand towel, 1 bath towel. I contacted Britannia Hotel Manager and Britannia Head Office. They all denied any responsibility. they didn't seem to care.

Only good thing about this hotel is the location. We booked it prior to an early flight from Newcastle Airport. Staff were pleasant enough during check in and check out but room was vile. It smelled of mould, looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months and there was splatters of bloody? vomit? up the wall, Spiders webs all over, bathroom was moudly and I had to clean the toilet seat before we used it. Hotel room was quiet enough, - room 12 on the ground floor. It consisted of a large double and set of bunkbeds. Bed linen looked clean but I think that's the only part of the room that was. We kept our shoes on. Would never stay here again. Genuinely can't believe people would book a function or Christmas dinner here!

​I stayed here for four nights for an event and was very disappointed. The room was unclean upon arrival and smelled strongly of mold. Housekeeping never cleaned the room during my stay in fact, I was told they don't offer room cleaning at all and I had to beg staff for basic toilet paper. Additionally, while breakfast was provided, the menu was extremely limited.
