Stayed at the globe, for a funeral we were attending, great place to stay, lovely & clean everything you need & a kitchen with everything you need for to cook something for yourself, shared bathrooms but no trouble as there were two, lovely & clean with plenty of towels if needed will stay again if up that way.

Absolutely brilliant stay at the Globe Hotel, really couldn’t fault the place. From the moment we checked in to check out the next day the hosts were very attentive and the accommodation was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is packed to the rafters with food for guests to help themselves to and cook breakfast for themselves. Wonderful working shower and towels provided. Bed comfortable - slept like a log. Parking was easy and only 10 minute walk to the Metro. Defo recommend for gigs in either Newcastle or Sunderland or a night out in the toon!

Top marks for me smashing room kitchen filled to the roof with food ( no extra charge). Our room was superb bathrooms spotless. The bar down stairs was a hive of laughter bar staff brilliant regulars where brilliant company. I’d recommend this place with out a dought good prices in the bar. Thanks to Ian the boss for making our week stay comfortable will be going back very soon.
