Holiday Inn Express Newcastle Metrocentre

Fantastic stay, lovely clean room, freindly helpful staff, great buffet breakfast, also a well stocked bar serving a full range of drinks evening meals also available

This is a really good value for money hotel. First of all would like to say that all the staff are the friendliest I have met at a UK hotel. The free breakfast is great with everything you need. They even provide paper bags if you want to take breakfast with you., rooms were very clean as was the whole hotel. The only disappointing comment I want to make is I am 75 with some health issues and part of my trip was to go to metro centre. On ap it states "metro centre just across the road" which is why we selected this hotel. However it is a 20 minute walk down a rear pathway which would be muddy if it rained. This should be stated as a 20 min walk not across the road. So not so good for me personally. To sum up loved hotel and in other circumstances would certainly use again

First rate from the welcome to checking out All staff helpful and made you feel welcome. Well organised hotel. Very clean. Great rooms, even had an ironing board and iron. Staying here will make me visit another Holiday Inn Express. Great experience.
