Holiday Inn Washington

After a very long drive up to our hotel, we arrived with the bed not made, no toilet roll and unclean shower. After talking to operations manger Chris, he dealt with this ASAP, and looked after us. I cannot fault his Customer service. And slept very well. We have been staying at this hotel for the last 4 years, and this is the 1st time we have had an problem. This however was dealt with swiftly. 100% definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for one night as a stopover before visiting Newcastle the following day. The hotel was easy to find, with plenty of free parking available, which made arrival very straightforward. The room was comfortable and suited our needs perfectly for an overnight stay. Breakfast was very nice, with a good selection of hot and cold options to choose from. Overall, a convenient and good-value hotel in a handy location, and I would happily stay here again when visiting the area.

The hotel could do with refurbishment, it is more budget friendly at first sight but taking £30 per night preaproval out of your card is rip off not to mention getting it back is not happening as per the reception communication. Few days later still chasing my refund. Out of discussion to stay here for few weeks on business
