MARRIOTT METRO CENTRE

Another nice stay at the delta hotel handy spot for the metro centre only a 5 min walk over . We had our 18 month old granddaughter with us she loved the pool it was great .the room was ok 2 double beds and clean and one of the maids was very nice with the granddaughter taking her along the lobby and giving her biscuits.they have 2 electric chargers and we’re both occupied with the same 2 cars for the duration of the trip so we had to use another charger down the street something could maybe be done about this ? .it used to be an amazing breakfast at this hotel but not very much on offer now and on the Sunday morning it wasn’t very quickly stocked up all in all a good stay at this hotel and we will be back soon .

A very last minute booking for my 12yr old and chosen as it had a pool and close proximity to Metrocentre. We only live 30 mins away and following a difficult few days we deserved a little treat. Check in was seamless, friendly and the reception area was very nice. As our room was ready we went straight up. We were in a first floor room which was very spacious. King size bed, a sofa, large bathroom and best of all peaceful. I expected some road noise from the nearby A1 but nothing. The pool area was nice however a small family changing area would’ve been appreciated. We were offered the disabled bathroom but quite frankly it wasn’t the cleanest. Only complaint was a group of men and teen boys were being a bit loud and bombing which was a bit annoying for those actually wishing to swim. My son said the male changing room was not very clean when he went back to dress after swimming. Breakfast was a little disappointing and not really worth the money. A lot of empty gaps which were slow to be refilled (white bread, croissants etc). However you are spoilt for choice of places to eat nearby. We enjoyed our impromptu treat away and I would definitely go again if the price suited. Would definitely recommend to others.
