Royal Station

Michael and Kirk at the restaurant were great. We came in late for breakfast and they took good care of us. Never felt rushed. But…. The hotel as a whole could use some major updating.

We celebrated our wedding reception at the Royal Station Hotel. Checking in the day before, staff were helpful, including Daniel on the desk. The day itself ran really smoothly, Steve was fantastic at setting up the neasutifyl Collingwood Suite, when we wanted things moved, this wasn't a bother for him. He was so helpful the day after the wedding when we collected all of our decorations. The food was delicious and it was commented on by many of our guests, especially the pork carnitas canape and the daube of beef. I absolutely loved the chocolate delice and raspberry sorbet. Hats off to the chefs, who also catered seamlessly for 2 guests with coeliac disease. An issue arose with one of the wedding guests room, and the hotel were swift to apologise and compensate for this. One of the staff members was also so kind in assisting the father of the groom when he fell in Reception. A huge thank you to Steph who helped plan and organise the wedding from the start. She was so easy to work with and saw to all of our needs. And to Rebecca for overseeing the last few tweaks. Highly recommend Royal Station Hotel for any event! Thanks for everything Mr & Mrs T

Sash window broken. Mould in bathroom, unbearable noise, no acknowledgment of issues, inc evacuation. Don’t stay here
