Premier Inn South Shields Port Of Tyne

Best Premier Inn we've ever stayed at. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Room was superb - had everything we needed, including a travel cot for our little one. Breakfast staff were so friendly, welcoming and both ladies interacted with our little one. Breakfast was delicious and plenty to choose from. Would definitely stay again!

Came here last year. Very clean room.Very friendly staff. Great breakfast and first class service in restaurant. Best all round Premier Inn we have stayed at.

We had just one night in room 63 on the top floor. I hadn't realised that I had booked a premium room, maybe I didn't but I would never have known until my wife mentioned it. We had a coffee maker; free water and tiny chocolate bars. Steady on, just one each. Did I mention that they were tiny. Oh! And I assume we got nicer bathroom toiletries as they left a nice smell. Everything else was very Premier Inn. They do a good job but it's difficult to make a first class version. It would have been nicer to install a king-size bed. There was plenty of room. I didn't sleep well. The bathroom worked well and wheyhey! We got a bathtowel, EACH. The breakfast room is very small. We were offered porridge as soon as we arrived and we both opted in. I have to say it was very nice with some summer fruits spooned on top. Otherwise it all looked rather ordinary. Not much of a view out of the window in room 63. Staff were nice (goes with the area). Especially the two ladies that checked us in at around 15:00 on 8 September. Thanks to them. I'd stay again but there's not much else in that area.
