Annie's Guest House

BEWARE! Owner is trying to scam anyone just to get more money. I booked a room for my driver for £25 on booking.com Then for very strange reason, I get notification that there is a problem with a payment. I tried calling and left a voicemail and I feel like I was ignored. Then my driver came, she charged him £55 and then cancelled the booking.com booking. This is very cheeky from her side. I will be taking legal action regarding this, not because of £30. But I woild love to teach her a lesson and show that here behaviour is not acceptable and not honest. Please look at screenshots, as she have done it to someone else.

Civeniently situation in walking distance to sea abd tiwn centre. Room lovely and clean, fan provided as in heatwave. Memory foam bed that is really comfy. Ample tea, coffee and milk in fridge. Owner happy for you to use dining room if you order in a take away and can't do enough for you, giving you cheapest taxi firm number etc. We try stay here whenever in South Shields. Highly recommended without breaking the bank

Bed was too uncomfortable to get any sleep at all. I had to find an other hotel to stay in. I only ever got a small part of our booking cost back. I booked it initially via booking.com then added a couple more days via Annie's guesthouse directly. The part paid directly to Annie's guesthouse was paid back. Booking.com did not give any of the money back that I paid to them to book the initial few days. This was most of the booking cost. Ended up losing around £250.
