Whites Hotel

The location of this hotel is perfect if you are attending any event at the exhibition park, as it’s in walking distance Atmosphere in reception is dependant on who’s attending the desk We were in room 111 we didn’t hear any noise from the bar although surprising as it loud outwith the room We stayed for 4 nights and didn’t have a single house keeping visit no room clean bins emptied fresh sheets towels or toilet roll replenished Be aware of the tea/coffee machine switch off times within reception, cups, stirrers etc start be be cleared away around 5/10 mins before it’s being turned off If you need a tea or coffee from the bar also be ware that the chef must be present to make these Although there is little tea making facilities in the room, it just felt inconvenient that you couldn’t get a hot drink downstairs as the machine was turned on and off at certain times and you couldn’t get a hot drink at the bar if the chef wasn’t in, that one really threw us I would recommend taking toiletries as there is only a soap dispenser in the shower so shower gel is a must aswell as shampoo & conditioner you don’t get any little complimentary toiletries

Stayed in room on 2nd floor, no lifts. Heating didnt work and very bad smell from drainage system in the bathroom coming from the shower. Food was decent enough but everything else was a let down. The hotel rep seemed surprised at our complaint when we informed her of the issues. Only stayed the one night, wouldn't go back. Very poor

cheap ,nasty stinking hotel, could not sleep as drains were putrid, couldnt sleep , radiators didnt work, felt like i slept in an igloo, couldnt open window for noise outside, No win situation. and the receptionist said she was suprised as no one ever complained!! And dont buy the food!!..And they asked for a £50 deposit for any damaged haha what a joke,ROTTING
