Travelodge Cardiff Queen Street

The staff were polite, friendly, and efficient throughout my stay, but unfortunately that was the only positive aspect of the experience. The room was unbearably hot, making it extremely difficult to sleep. The conditions were unreasonable and far below what I would expect from a hotel. The window barely opened, leaving almost no ventilation, and the fan provided was completely ineffective. A comfortable room temperature is a basic expectation, and the lack of any effective way to cool the room had a significant impact on my stay. Breakfast was equally disappointing. The coffee was poor, and the “fruit juice” tasted artificial and unpleasant. The overall quality of the breakfast did not reflect the standard the hotel appears to aim for.

Recently visited Cardiff to see Richard Ashcroft at Cardiff Castle and stayed at Travelodge Cardiff Central Queen Street and was perfectly situated for the event the centre of Cardiff was buzzing with all the outdoor bars eating establishments and general going ons the place was clean staff polite and interested in my being there room clean fan running and comfortable bed for a great night's sleep it was a bit expensive but cheaper than everything around and was closest to event that night thanks

The loThe location was useful for me to walk from the coach FlixBus drop-off to the hotel and it was easy to walk to the Castle for a concert. The staff was very helpful throughout my stay; the room was ok, but Mother Nature decided to let the sun have its moment of smiles and it was hot. I had to be careful outside.
