Best Western Henley

Please note this hotel is now self service. You will be sent a front / main door code and code to access a key safe by the door to your room, before arrival. On our arrival the front door was not secure, the lock was broken (so no need for a code!) and a piece of cardboard had been inserted to create a tight fit but definitely not secure. We stayed in the Chamberlin suite. Nice sized room with kettle and tea/coffee provided. But, one of the window panes was cracked and had not been replaced. Two showers in the bathroom, but shower head missing on one of them. Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable, thin mattress and you could feel the springs through the mattress. We did not have a good nights sleep. Had booked to stay for two nights, but left after only one night. Overall impression, has potential but needs investment. Poor value for money. Won't be returning.

Bed extremely comfortable, warm happy staff, excellent food and prompt service. I recommend the pizza and dirty fries. 2 4 1 menu with a good verity on menu. Excellent hot coffee to finish. We definitely will be back

Stayed on a Saturday night for Valentines. Very quiet so we were upgraded free to a suite, very clean room with really comfortable bed. 100% will stay again, such a reasonable price. Gutted we couldn’t stay for breakfast, from the other reviews it’s sounds like it’s amazing!
