Best Western Peacock

The hotel was okay for a one-night stay. I was in a rush the next morning and accidentally left my bag behind. I didn’t realize it until later that evening, so I called the hotel, hoping the cleaning staff had found it. Unfortunately, it had disappeared. I was very disappointed with the poor customer service and management. I expected more effort to help locate my belongings or provide a better explanation of what happened to my bag.

What a great find. I really enjoyed my stays here, a lovely hotel with nicely decorated rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, 2x great restaurants, I dined at both, the first is called Raffles, which has a menu with Malaysian, Indian, and Chinese dishes. There is another restaurant with a variety of European food. The location is spot on. Just a few minutes along the high street to the centre. The is a private car park, which is included in the price, I felt my car was safe. I booked the Peacock Hotel for a business stay at first and then returned with my wife to go sightseeing around the beautiful countryside. I have since returned several times. This is very good hotel, great value, and you are always made to feel welcome.

A lovely hotel with the most friendly , welcoming and helpful staff. The rooms were nice, very comfortable. I would highly recommend the Peacock hotel.
