THE STRATFORD

Spacious room with working air conditioning. The sofa bed in the room was super soft. It just collapsed through at the bottom, no firmness at all. And very soft pillows. Breakfast was good. Everything else was nice and clean.

The location of this hotel is excellent, as you can quickly walk into town from it. There are lots of pubs and eateries close by, and it has a restaurant. In this historical city, there is lots to do and see. We did a river cruise, saw Shakespeare's house, and went on the big wheel ride, close to the river. The views of Stratford were amazing from up there. There is a nice, peaceful atmosphere, in the reception area of thus hotel, which has seating and a bar, with a tabled area outside, should you wish to sit outside with a drink. The room was lovely, we booked a twin, it was very clean, and provided ample wardrobe space, one each, and nice comfy beds with air con available. Toiletries were in ample supply, as were tea and coffee making facilities, and bath/hand towels. The bathroom had a shower and bath, and a pull out make up mirror. I believe that the room and service were worth the money we spent on booking.
