A short but lovely stay - rooms were very comfortable, well equipped and quiet. A great location close to Heron’s Quay or Canary Wharf DLR and lots of choice of nearby restaurants. In particular the reception staff were extremely polite, welcoming and efficient which helped our stay to be even more enjoyable. Overall excellent value. Thank you.

Marlin Canary Wharf Review – London, England
I recently stayed at Marlin Canary Wharf and overall had a pleasant experience. The biggest advantage of this property is that it offers a more authentic "live like a local" London experience rather than feeling like a tourist hotel.
The apartments are spacious by London standards, with comfortable beds and plenty of room to relax. Having a full apartment rather than a traditional hotel room was a definite plus, especially for a longer stay. Considering London prices, I felt the value was fair.
The location was good, though not outstanding. While Canary Wharf is a nice area, it was still a decent walk to transportation options, including the Elizabeth Line and the Uber Boat. That said, it was very convenient for attending events at The O2 and provided easy enough access for exploring London.
Check-in was smooth and professional. Although we weren't able to access our room early, the staff kindly allowed us to use a washroom to change, which was appreciated after traveling. The building also has an elevator and a bright, well-maintained stairwell.
Cleanliness was acceptable but not exceptional. The apartment felt generally clean, though there was certainly room for improvement in a few areas.
One drawback was the noise level. During our stay, the weather was very warm, which meant keeping the windows open. Unfortunately, there was significant construction activity beside the building, and the surrounding residential area could be noisy, particularly with families and children in nearby apartment buildings.
Guests should also be aware that this is more of an apartment-style accommodation than a full-service hotel. There are essentially no amenities or services on-site, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. There is a Tesco conveniently around the corner for groceries and essentials, while a nearby coffee shop offers a nice option for breakfast or a drink, though prices were quite high.
Overall, Marlin Canary Wharf is a solid choice for travelers looking for a spacious apartment, reasonable value, and a more local London experience. It's not luxurious and doesn't offer many amenities, but it provides comfortable accommodations in a convenient location, particularly for visiting The O2 and exploring London.
Rating: 3.5/5 stars ⭐⭐⭐✨
Pros: Spacious apartments, comfortable beds, local neighborhood feel, reasonable value, smooth check-in, convenient for The O2.
Cons: Average cleanliness, some distance from transport links, limited amenities, and potentially noisy due to construction and surrounding residential activity.
