Buckingham Villiers Hotel

Disappointing room; hot, airless, grubby, noisy, gloomy and in need of decoration and cleaning. The dinner was good, nice food. Handy for Bletchley - 10 miles away. A rabbit warren, not surprising given the age of the building. We will not return.

Decided to give Villiers a try for Sunday lunch with the family. We were genuinely impressed. Great tasting roast, generous portion, all the trimmings. Very reasonably priced. Staff were really friendly. We’ll be back again.

Overall the ground floor and bar are very nice. However the the room allocated was very dated with broken cupboard possibly where the fridge was as some point but not there any more, 2 hairdryers in the room constantly overheated so fould not use and multiple cracks in bathroom tiles and bath panel. The worst was yet to come. We paid extra for the breakfast which was the worst iv had. £19 each and we waited 30+ min for a fry up and smashed avacardo with poached egg. The egg on this was so watery you might as well of poured water over it and then my fry up 1 egg, 1 suppsedley sausage so soft a baby could eat and no glavor, same with the bacon and then the smalles amount of beans iv seen. Prob 20 actual beans. If you do stay hear PLEASE GO AND ENJOY A GOOD BREAKFAST JUST DOWN THE ROAD AT A LOCAL CAFE. MUCH BETTER AND HALF THE PRICE!
