Coleshill Hotel - B&B

HOTEL OF HORRORS: Please read the reviews. We booked a family room with our 4 year old. After eventually getting parked (45 mins waiting for a space) we were told that there was an issue with the gas so no food would be getting served (a lie) as reception said breakfast would be served first thing in the morning still. The room was filthy and I mean filthy, the floor had blood stains and black dirt strewn across it, the bed my 4 year old was given had broken pieces of metal sticking through the mattress. We had to go down the road for tea, upon our return we found a drag queen on the step swearing and balling in front of our child. We got our child to the room, then the drag act went on stage….we might as well have been sleeping on stage, no mention that there would have been live music late night right below our room, once again screaming and swearing at the punters through the mic, we quickly packed up, just as a fight was breaking out, excellent! Premier Inn booked 8 minutes down the road in the middle of the night, we wrapped up our baby girl in a blanket, dumped the keys on the desk (no staff to be found anywhere) and got out of there as fast as we could. £110 out of pocket, but absolutely no chance we would of been able to sleep safely in there, the door lock was broken!!! Please do not think we are prudes, we are an easy going family that don’t want for much in a stay, but this was unreal and unacceptable, no doubt the hotel will do the whole “we endeavour to take feedback on board”, spiel, but there will be no refunds offered, no actual changes made, just read all the other 1*s they are certainly telling the truth. Avoid like the plague! - Book the Premier Inn!

Do not stay here if you want to sleep! The place is very noisy and rooms are extremely hot. We were in room 15, facing the busy road. Traffic was constant, people smoking and talking on the road below the bedroom windows, coming out from the pub belonging to the hotel, boom boom from the music till late and we could here the people talking in the room next to ours. We asked to change room, but apparently, they did not have any other room facing away from the road. We will definitely NOT stay there again!!!

Worst night sleep ever! Bed was lumpy, pillows were like bricks, it was so hot in the room we didn’t know what to do with ourselves. It was so noisy from the traffic and pedestrians walking passed and people stood outside having a cigarette. There was a loose manhole in the road which clanked every time a vehicle went over it. The room was where the Hotel sign was positioned outside and it squeaked all night long. The only reason I scored it a 2instead of a 1 was because the staff were very friendly
