HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS OLDBURY

Freezing cold, noisy at night (guests banging about rather than outside noise), no WiFi (didn’t even mention it to me when I arrived and I’m clearly on business). If it wasn’t for the reward points I would have stayed somewhere else. Waited too long to check in. A poor place to stay.

Always liked the holiday inn hotels as a whole. However, this one stepped up the mark by having some of the best people ever. Not only was the location perfect, but the room was huge, fresh, and tidy. The reception area was well laid out and brightly vibrantly lit. Breakfast was plentiful as you can help yourself to the array of freshly cooked hot food at your leisure. The bar was well stocked with a large selection of refreshments for young and old. As a bonus, they even had a guinness on draught (delicious). Now, let's get to the main event. Any establishment can be a nice visit, especially if you make a conscious decision to make the most of what you have. However, I always feel that the staff are the reason that a stay is made extra special. In this case, we wanted to move in and become family, lol! Thank you to Andre, chelsea, Cameron, and kyle for going above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. My apologies as I've forgotten the other lady's name who worked alongside chelsea on our arrival. Finally, what more do I need to say, but. This place is dog friendly . Thank you to all involved for making our stay a wonderful one.

We had an opportunity to stay in this hotel for a night in December 2025. The following is my opinion: PROS: 1. A Standard Hooliday Inn " Express" budget Hotel. 2. Room with double bed and an expadible makeshift 3rd bed. Thankfully there was no creaking sound on the bed. 3. The room was decent and warm. 4. Parking was free, that was a pleasant surprise. CON: 1. Breakfast was "typical" morning Holiday Inn type. Servicable. No Pancakes. One of the 2 coffee machines was out of order.
