Premier Inn West Bromwich Central

Stayed in this hotel just as Covid was taking effect. I witnessed many trolleys of toilet rolls and pasta and rice being wheeled out to cars from the Tesco opposite. Bit weird. But soon to become normal behaviour. The hotel was great. Staff helpful and all things worked just fine. When I got home the world shut, so I didn't return to work for another 3-4months. All in all a very interesting visit. ps the website makes me pick a wrong date, but it was as covid struck!

Your site is displaying the Premier Inn, 144 High Street, WEST BROMWICH B70 6JJ. Please note that this hotel was PERMANENTLY CLOSED some time ago, We actually stayed in the Premier Inn, Congregation Way, WEST BROMWICH B70 6PU, which is about 0.5 miles away from the former hotel, and which we thought was excellent. We had booked to arrive on what was correctly forecast to be the hottest day since records began. Wanting to avoid the heat, we travelled early and arrived at 10:30, not expecting our room to be available until 15:00. However, the very helpful person on reception went immediately to check that our room was free and that the air-con was on for us. We found all the staff to be very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast service was all we could need. We shall definitely be staying here again!

We stayed here for 3 nights and the room was clean and comfortable. The only problem was as our daughter is in a wheel chair, it was difficult for her to use the toilet and wasn't able to access the bath/shower. We did ask the reception if they had a room with an accessible bathroom, but the only accessible rooms were not suitable for families. The staff were very polite, welcoming and helpful. We have used premier Inn hotels quite a lot and the staff here in my opinion were some of the best. In conclusion if this hotel had family accessible rooms with either a wet room or accessible bathroom it would of been one of the best we stayed in.
