The Barns Hotel

I have just reviewed this hotel but I would just like to add the lady on reception this morning was lovely. Credit where credit is due Anne walker

We got married at the Barns on 6th June, and we cannot recommend them enough! The day ran smoothly, the staff were super helpful and the venue was gorgeous. We had so many compliments on everything from the venue itself, to the food and to the staff. A special thank you to John who was very helpful throughout the day. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it to be. Honestly the best day of our lives.

Room was clean but it's like a Motel at the back of the pub and our room overlooked a car park and factory. Restaurant was nice and Courtyard area nice. The man serving us was nice. Breakfast was told to just sit where comfortable and wasn't told we could help ourselves to the cereals etc. Just asked if wanted orange or apple and tea or coffee. Heard staff saying they were short staffed more than once and felt impatience from the woman serving. It may have been busy with contracters but it spoilt our experience.
