Bayswater Inn

I requested a room on the top floor away from the lifts. They gave me a room in the basement directly opposite the lift door! I asked to be moved and they moved me around the corner still in the basement. Good air conditioning, room was clean and basic. Newly refurbished bathroom. Only issue was the very strong smell of damp in the room, quite overpowering. See photos. This is a very basic hotel, not worth the £75 a night I pod for it.

I stayed at this property from July 27 to 31, few positive things including the exceptional location a few meters from the subway and above all the tranquility of a safe and elegant residential area... unfortunately the rooms are small.. there were three of us and we could barely move.. cleaning almost non-existent and the toilet was never washed... we asked for another room from the moment we arrived, since ours was on the lower floor with a single window that could not be opened but they did not listen to us... breakfast was average... Final result.. I would not return.

What a little gem of a place, Quiet location with helpful, friendly staff throughout , a short walk to Kensington gardens and Hyde Park. The rooms are average London size but well laid out, clean and comfortable. A good size bathroom with a good shower. We slept really well in the air conditioned room and enjoyed a tasty late breakfast up until 11 am ( on a weekend) We would definitely stay there again it seemed a lovely area to stay in. We felt safe and confident walking back from Hyde park after a concert.
