Charlies Hotel

We stayed at Charlie’s Hotel for a concert at the Emirates Stadium and, after reading some of the previous reviews, were a little worried. However, we had a really positive experience. The hotel is budget-friendly and in a great location for the stadium. The staff were very friendly and happily stored our bags both before check-in and after check-out, which was a huge help. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, with fresh paint, new flooring and new beds. While the rooms are small and basic, and there are no tea or coffee-making facilities, everything was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a great night’s sleep. For what we needed – somewhere affordable, clean and comfortable to sleep – it was perfect. If you’re looking for luxury, this probably isn’t the place for you, but as a budget base in London, we were very happy with our stay.
