They have made even more staff redundant and want to close RECEPTION AT THE DUDLEY, FOR GOOD using REMOTE CONTROLLED ACCESS. I had MALE staff carrying out welfare checks on me and my room, and I was getting embarrassed under the shower! They did apparently not knock on my bathroom door to let me know who they were, and peaked in which left me feeling vulnerable and exposed to men I don't know well enough. I was scared of burglars in my room. Felt very violated in my privacy rights. Also, there were other council clients misbehaving and asking me for a fag or even sex (two different males, the first one I did not know, the second one said his name was Fernando). I am hoping for MY council in a different borough to relocate me back to where I last lived. Also, regularly false fire alerts get triggered here. Shower is medium warm... ...but needs time to heat up (give it a minute before you hop under). TV cable is faulty... ...mine suffered from loose contacts, every now and again. Kettle - I used my own cookery devices, anyway, as I don't like others germs when I can prevent it. Fire blanket and fire extinguisher are not inside my room but I did always provide my own one. Also, there is no full kitchen in my room, and I am getting desperate to cook without getting thrown out for it... . Horrible, if the council places you in this position for too long and I need it more QUIET than what I am offered... . It is nerve-wrecking to be exposed to constant STREET NOISE. I don't understand how anyone can live at New York, by the way..., ...and feel happy. Hotel does not provide face masks for free but EXPECTS me to walk and cross streets to RENEW MY KEY CARD DAILY?! WHEN THEY USED TO HAVE A SWIPE TERMINAL INSIDE MY HOTEL BUILDING COMPLEX. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEED FOR FORCED UP LONG STAYS BY THE COUNCIL NOW THAT THEY GOT ME OUT OF THEIR BOROUGH... . I am just not happy with living at this borough because the council placed me here... ...and I had hardly any say about not moving out of where I know my whereabouts. Management is making excuses about what they are doing wrong. Parcel deliveries are difficult to track here, too. Hotel has no good log book for mail and parcel deliveries. Most of the things I ordered have arrived with me, so far... . But I am one of those travellers that if not accepting this hotel - would have been homeless or stuck in an even smaller hotel room in the borough I came from, not organised by the council... .

My partner and I had stayed in the hotel for a festival and found it small but cosy, the rooms are freshly decorated and it has just enough room for everything you need including a small en-suite. The only problem we found with the hotel was the staff wanting into our room constantly even though we had said do not disturb. We were interrupted 3 times before we had went out which I wasn’t a fan of as the room was small for two of us nevermind another person coming in.
