What a lovely hotel. Rooms spotless and beds comfy. Good location and plenty of parking. Short drive to Gatwick (14 mins) or hotel will order taxi (£22.50) The staff were brilliant. Good value hotel. Swimming pool etc next door..

We have used this hotel twice now before traveling to LGW following a nights sleep. Both times we have found the room temperature very cold and had trouble adjusting the heating. Seems they have a strange system in that although adjustment can be made from the room thermostat unless the system is set correctly from the reception the room adjustment can make no difference. At the time we were there in July it was 35 degrees outside and we were cold within the room !! Very cold !! One of the two opening windows could only be opened 4 inches due to a clocked strap arrangement. I simply asked for the key - No was the answer - Security! My mouth fell open when we were given a heater to take to the room. It was 35 degrees outside ! Next time I will not put up with any nonsense and demand the room is set to a reasonably comfortable temperature. Hot or Cold. Otherwise a convenient hotel to stay at if you are flying out of LGW.
