St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel

We enjoyed the atmosphere of this very successful restoration of a classic railway hotel. The staff were friendly and very attentive throughout. Food was prepared to a good standard but service at breakfast was slow, waiting 20 minutes for our order to arrive one morning and 10 minutes on the third day just for someone to take the order. I had to ask for a sideplate and knife for my toast. We were in the old part of the building overlooking the station which was fascinating and it was a pleasure to explore the grand staircase, corridors, and the beautifully restored Ladies Smoking Room. The room is described as a "junior suite" which is a bit of an exaggeration as it is a modest sized room, taller than it is wide, although with a fine central fireplace. The large bathroom is excellent, a full-sized bath, twin sinks and marble-effect tiles. We had a couple of concerns, eg an attempt to open our door by housekeeping staff in error - the manager apologised and gave a modest reduction in our bill. We had to leave a note to request teaspoons in the room and again this was rectified. Waiting staff noticed we were waiting for breakfasts and offered a Bucks Fizz as recompense . So altogether a pleasant stay but some attention to detail would not go amiss.

Fantastic service from everyone at the lobby bar, but Mariusz in particular stood out. He gave us some great recommendations and made the whole experience even better. This marked my fourth visit within the past four weeks, and I have never been disappointed. Mariusz recognised it was not my first time there and offered us a glass of champagne, which made me feel quite important in front of my friend, who had just arrived in London for the first time. I suggest visiting during the weekends, as live music is adding to ambience. We will certainly return!

Thank you to Klaudia and the staff, so lovely and kind! I came here for spend some relaxing hours with my partner for my birthday and everything was amazing. Very clean spa and I also received a complimentary gift and card for my birthday. I also tried the jasmine tea and it was so delicious and refreshing. It was the second time here and I'll return again in the future. Thanks 😊
