We looked at the hotel during our last visit to London. Back then we were at the Fraser Suites, Queensgate, an absolute disaster! You can reach The Ampersand directly from Heathrow Airport by Tube. It is only about 50 m away from the station. Very nice, well-maintained building, helpful and friendly staff from all over the world - normal for London. The rooms are very well equipped and clean, not just swept clean. The breakfast was also fine. Based on my experience, I can only recommend this hotel, as we like staying in this area, be it in the Gloucester or South Kensington neighborhood.

We had a superb science themed afternoon tea. My daughter particularly enjoyed making her drinks and hunting through the chocolate soil for her dinosaur fossils. Teddy our waiter was excellent- he was so friendly and polite and truly made our afternoon tea. Well done to all the team for making us so welcome - we would definitely love to return. The Science afternoon tea was a great experience! The staff was very nice. The food tasted good and we were very full afterwards. Definitely recommended!
