Derwent House

The Derwent House is one of the main reasons I returned to South Africa. The place and people are beyond amazing. I have stayed here twice and can't wait to go back again. Great home made to order breakfast with a smile. Greta location, but very quiet.

I think I must have had the worse room because it wasn't as cozy as the one in the picture. It felt cramped not a sea view, so not very enthralling. I'm sorry I don't think that I would go again to this one. I have spent some nice nights here but I'll give this one a miss.

Julia and John are such friendly hosts! Lovely, spotlessly clean room, nice cooked breakfast. They directed us to the local pub for our evening meal, and even provided a torch for our walk back in the dark. Would definitely return here again.
