We stayed here for one night while walking the South Downs Way. Staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and, although identified as a ‘Cosy Room’, it was very spacious with somewhere to sit. Dinner was a set 3-course menu but there was an excellent choice and the food was delicious. Breakfast was also very good with an excellent buffet and good choice of cooked breakfast. We’re already considering another short break here! Highly recommended

Once again Judith and I had a very good anniversary meal at the Spread Eagle Hotel in Midhurst. The venue, food and service were all first class.

Lovely, clean hotel, breakfast was good, spa is ok does not look like the photos (a bit dated.) Calm, relaxing environment. Robes and temple spa products in the room which is a nice touch. Beds are NOT comfortable, neither are the pillows, didn’t sleep and a lot of noise outside the windows and in rooms above so bare that in mind. We could eat dinner in the hotel because it was fully booked, no tables in the bar either so that was disappointing after paying for the stay.
