Lovely friendly hotel set in beautiful grounds in a historic building. Breakfast room in Old school Hall with high ceiling and good quality food. No kettle in room but comunial kitchen on each floor so I would just take my travel kettle . Also near to Lovely restaurants and night life.br Highly recommend.

Very poor quality rooms. Felt like a hostel and not a good one

Booked a room as I was dropping my daughter at university so needed a reasonably costing stay with parking. I’m not sure I’d stay again. Rooms felt like a hostel, basic and pretty clean bar a stain on the bedding and cobwebs (see photos). Bathroom was like a hospital room. Breakfast was plentiful if you’d like, but was average quality. Quiet location, easy walking distance to some lovely restaurants but the religious aspect felt a bit odd.
