Discovery Inn Hotel

absolutely lovely it was fantastic ayayaya i loved it

Do not stay here. They don’t provide anti slip mats for your bath tub. I slipped, fell and wounded my eyebrow, bleeding. At the end of the day I was informed that I should have asked for anti slip mats as they have it in stock and basically it was my fault. No empathy from the staff, no check up done to see how my bleed and wound has gone. It’s been a week. I sent out an official complaint but not even an acknowledgment has been given to it. It’s cheap and central but service, staff and rooms are of bad quality.

One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The customer service was appalling, and the staff appeared poorly trained and unable to provide clear or accurate information. The hotel was materially different from how it had been advertised. It felt more like basic institutional or temporary accommodation than a hotel intended to provide guests with a comfortable and restful stay. The room had inadequate ventilation and no effective cooling system, making it unbearable in the extreme heat. The standard of cleanliness was equally unacceptable: the room had not been properly cleaned, and the bedding did not appear to have been changed before our arrival. In my experience, the hotel’s advertising was seriously misleading and did not reflect the facilities, cleanliness or standard of service actually provided. It was not a place where anyone could reasonably expect to enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep, and I would not recommend it.
