Doubletree By Hilton Leeds City Centre

We only stayed one night after going to the Roundhay festival, but would definitely recommend. From arrival all staff were very helpful and friendly. We got given a complimentary cookie on checking in, which was a nice touch. Our rooms were large and very clean, the beds very comfortable, we had a bottle of prosecco waiting in our rooms too, a very nice touch. There was a kettle and plenty of tea,coffee and milk,much needed at midnight and first thing in the morning. Breakfast was buffet style and excellent, so much choice, I would definitely stay here again. The view from our rooms overlooked the canal, which was perfect.

My wife and I stayed on the 11th floor of this wonderful hotel,the suite we stayed in was immaculate it looked as if we were the first ever guests to stay in the room it was that clean and has stunning views over the canal and surrounding area,but it is the staff that makes this Hotel stand out nothing is too much trouble,special thanks to Mariat who was excellent in sorting out a small problem that cropped up and Matthew who went out of his way to book us in the room we wanted for our returning stay next weekend.We highly recommend this 4* Hotel with 5* staff.

It was a bit confusing to find, especially walking from the station, but on arrival it's a big, modern entrance in a beautiful waterfront location. Friendly staff sorted out a problem with my booking (not their fault), and I was quickly up to my spacious room, overlooking the canal. The room is big with a modern bathroom and it was immaculately clean. There is a bit of a step up to the shower which could be a problem to someone with poor mobility. There is a lovely outside area to the bar which was next to where the (good) breakfast was served.
