High Bank Hotel

Faulty towers gone wrong!!! DO NOT USE 1. Dirty carpets throughout from the stairs to inside the rooms 2. Broken tiles in bathroom 3. No long mirror in any rooms 4. Smell as you enter the building and throughout 5. Broken blinds in all rooms looking facing the carpark 6. Only one friendly staff member which was the cleaner with short curly hair 7.going up the stairs to enter the building to check in only quarter of hard rail then rest Broken off .( how this has past health and safety regulations is beyond belief) sp if you have a disability DO NOT USE THIS PLACE IT IS NOT WELFARE FRIENDLY IN ANY WAY ) also the stairs are very high to climb and going up to this place h very very steep again not good for anybody.with a disability 8. Bathroom really small your legs and knees when using the bathroom hit the wall!!! So have to sit on toilet side ways !!!! Also shower cubicle is small this is room 7 and a high step 9. Bedsheets not the best at all towels look and feel used would take your own. Washed out colour!! 10 the carpets in the room need all pulling up amd replace more dirt than outside 11. Windows cant open or dont close correct 12. Front desk welcome seats I would advise not to sit in them as again dirty not clean at all 13. Plug sockets i would suggest you take an extension lead as wardrobes blocking the socket therefore leaving only the kettle plug to use but again not much room to place anything if need to.charge or using hair dryer to no mirror and only one socket to use. 14. The only thing good is the location for the park nothing else. 15. Not presentable from the minute you drive in the care home 2mins away is presentable than this place. As I work on tourism I would NOT recommend this to anybody it need pulling down or the owners should be ashamed because my question would you stay there yourself?

Spending time with friends, arrived, staff wonderful. The communal areas really need some TLC. we had a double and two single beds. The room was clean and comfortable. For the price paid, it was excellent value. Would definitely come back. Also regular bus service, which was wonderful, as we’d travelled by coach.

When we arrived we were shown to our room on the third floor once we entered the room there was cracks in the walls, a missing panel from the bathroom wall and a Tv with no signal but we were able to connect the tv to wifi with settings in the end The beds were okay but the hotel definitely needs some TLC
