Travelodge Leeds Central

Hotel is very well located, around 3-4 minutes walk from the station and minutes from the shopping and nightlife areas of Leeds. Staff were all very pleasant, we had a room on the 3rd floor equipped with everything you need for a nights stay. Reception able to provide iron+board as well. We paid for breakfast and found this to be plentiful, great choice of hot items as well as continental and good value at £10.99 pp served till 11am on a Sunday. Hotel is secure with code needed to access lift & doors locked at 10pm with keycard used for entry. Only small complaint was that in our room there was no extractor in the bathroom so was quite steamed up after showers etc. Would definitely stay again due to location

I travelled to Leeds to attend an award ceremony for work, I arrived at the hotel, check in was smooth, fast, professional & welcoming. The team member that was running the hotel through the night, Cameron, was welcoming, kind & took the time to recommend a drink to me at the bar and spent some time having a conversation with me. Reception in the morning, checked out smoothly & served me a coffee whilst I worked from the bar area. Very clean communal areas & comfy clean rooms. Thank you to all the team for making it a lovely stay.

You have to be careful when booking here: the top floor rooms can be boiling hot even in mild weather, and the ones next to the railway will wake you up at 5am. I paid extra to try a super room but ended up having to be moved because it was too hot, to a basic room. It turned out the rooms are actually identical apart from coffee pods and a hairdryer. The extra I paid to be away from the railway was also a lot more then the £3.50 recently advertised. On the plus side, the location is super convenient, the staff are all lovely and they've finally started putting proper soap in.
