My daughter had her wedding here on the 03/10/26 and it was perfect friendly staff Karen was absolutely amazing throughout the day she is an absolutely credit to your company

Had a fabulous birthday stay in a dog friendly room in the courtyard. The room was well appointed and there were bowls and a lovely bed for Freddie. Champagne and chocolates were waiting in the room. Dinner was excellent in the evening as always. It was a perfect stay...the team are so friendly and professional and we were perfectly looked after....amazing 👌 Thank you

We stayed here for two nights on their Autumn Retreat offering which included a half bottle of champagne in our room upon arrival and £35 each towards our dinner on both nights with a complimentary bottle of wine on the second evening. The hotel is easily located just off the A1 and set in well presented grounds. Our room was large, clean and beautifully presented and the check-in was easy and efficient. They have two restaurants either side of reception although the menu is the same for both. The Fleur de Lys is a little "fancier" compared to the Brasserie but both are very nice and the food was excellent. We each had a steak on the first night and then I had the mini carvery (because I couldn't decide which roast I wanted) on the second and my wife had another steak, mainly because the Sunday menu was different from the first night and her first choice wasn't available. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of cooked dishes and continental offerings. Our only gripe was that the dinner allowance was on the low side given the menu prices - for example, it was only just enough to cover a Rib-Eye or Sirloin Steak without any sauces or side dishes. We ended up paying an extra £150 on top for our meals (one starter and one pudding each night, plus main course sides) and drinks (one beer and one carafe of wine). Admittedly we could have realised this in advance had we viewed the menus online when booking, but I think it's reasonable to expect the allowance to cover more than it did. Nevertheles, the quality was such that we didn't begrudge it and would certainly consider Wentbridge House for a future stay.
