Still Meadow

The people are very nice and kind. Because of the really comfortable beds and the quiet atmosphere we slept very well. The breakfast service let you choose from cooked meals up to special wishes like for instance whether you are a vegetarian or eat glutenfree food. They offered us everything we needed.

Situated just off Bradford Road the modern house is set in just over 2 acres of garden. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble. Bedding is available in down/feather or polyester fibre, just ask if you have a preference. They do gluten free, and dairy free by arrangement. The breakfast was excellent with a selection of home made jam and honey. Our hosts and their 13 year old labrador could not have been more helpful.

The hosts Sue and Ed were warm and welcoming and the planning put into every detail of what you might require in your room was evident from the quality fresh coffee to the chocolates on your pillow and the layout of the room. Breakfast was delicious, I ordered the Full English, and had a very generous teapot all to myself ! No request for local information was too much trouble Most importantly I slept on a quality mattress with pristine bedding. The views surrounding the house are beautiful and add to the comfort and tranquillity that characterises the property. I will return again this year for certain. C.Rawlins
