The Crown Inn

We have stayed at The Crown on numerous occasions & it has always been superb, both accommodation & food. We stayed for one night at the beginning of September in their last room available, no 17, which is an accessible room. Not a problem as my husband does struggle with walking. We had the most uncomfortable night ever. The beds creaked loudly when you got into them, and you could feel every spring as you moved and turned over in the night accompanied by the groaning and creaking.which kept us awake. I feel sorry for every disabled person who is given this room as it is most definitely the worst of all of them. Dear Crown Inn, pleas sort this room out as it is not value for money. The mattresses are well past their sell by date and need replacing. Apart from that the room is clean and tidy and the food was excellent as always which is my my rating is 3 stars. This room is a 1 star.

Long wait for food, but decent food and service, reasonable portions.

Such a great place for lunch. The staff are so good. Always have a smile for the customers even the awkward ones. The food is excellent and priced extremely fairly. The layout of the restaurant is perfect with a huge car park. Extremely clean and comfortable. Thank you to all at the Crown for making us feel special.
