Hilton Birmingham Bromsgrove

Just had five days at this hotel with Just Go coach Travel. Was very pleasantly surprised at this hotel. Lovely large room. Large twin beds. Buffet style breakfast and evening meal. Use of the spa and pool facilities, could do with a little more care to certain areas like the front porch with dead weeds and the garden again with weeds and leaves. Really enjoyed our stay here and would love to go back again,

This hotel is very dated, I get the impression it used to be a nice upmarket place but hasn't aged well. It is priced quite high for what you get. The staff were not particularly welcoming, I would almost go as far to say the person on reception was rude. The room decor is out-dated with damage and there is mould in the bathroom. My sheets had stains and the plug sockets aren't positioned well. I went to the bar where they had no soft drinks on draught, I was offered lemonade which was in an open jug.. I ended up heading to the petrol station down the road!

Was very impressed at first then came dinner went to the toilet was a single person here came back table cleared other people sat there no dessert served before I stood up. Asked the bar staff where the toilet was to come back to this not good no apology at all.
