Holiday Inn Express Birmingham Snow-Hill

The location is good and parking is close and easy. The people working at the hotel were really helpful and kind, Loyal and Rishon in particular whent out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

Excellent on all counts. We enjoyed an overnight stay for our daughter’s graduation ceremony. Checking in was speedy as was checkout. Park In B4 car park and put your car registration details in the tablet in reception to receive over 50% off the car park fee. Bathroom was spotless. Bedroom was comfortable, well appointed and great A/C. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and lots of tables - you could also take fruit and croissants in bag to go. Big shout out to Loyal, the man on reception who checked us in and who we saw the following morning too and who asked if the graduation went well. Super helpful and polite, and gave us water as we melting in the extreme heat. What an asset he is to the hotel. Thank you! If we ever need to stay in Birmingham again we will stay here!

I would not choose to stay at this hotel again. The management have no customer service skills and are disinterested in resolving simple issues within their business. Our room had a fault with the TV due to no aerial, management appeared aware of this issue and has been noted in numerous negative reviews. Management advised that there were no spare rooms within their hotel, nor any IHG branded hotels and essentially it was take it or leave it. A search online proved that there were rooms available both internally and at other IHG hotels. We chose to checkout due to the poor customer service. Additionally the sofa bed within family room had single duvet only, this should be minimum of double duvet. Would not return and this experience has left sour taste in mouth.
