Had a wake for my mother. Very helpful staff who couldn't have been more attentive. Good food and drink (tea and coffee) toped up as needed.

Terrible. Rude staff, slow service, cold over cooked food (seemed like it was sat for hours). The rooms are outdated and dirty, and the whole place is in dire need of a renovation. Very outdated. The prices they charge for rooms, food and drinks are extortionate for such poor service and decor. I would not recommend.

We spent the weekend at The Westmead with a large family group, staying for 2 nights, and celebrating an 80th Birthday in the function room on the Saturday night. We honestly could not find fault with the place! The customer service was fantastic, the staff were friendly and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic, with 40 of us served a fabulous dinner efficiently on Saturday night. Great selection of breakfast options, too (although the coffee leaves a lot to be desired). The rooms were spacious, and spotlessly clean. All in all, excellent value for money, with a rare focus on customer satisfaction.
