Garden Plaza Hotel and Suites Decatur

This is my third time to stay here at the DoubleTree and each time has been phenomenal. The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. Location is convenient with stores and gas stations close by. Rooms are all very clean and up to date. The value is good for the environment and experience you get. I have never had to file a noise complaint, everyone usually stays quiet and to themselves. The service has always been great! When you check in, you get a doubletree cookie. I’d recommend staying here. It’s right by the water and the historic district.

I had a great experience at the DoubleTree in Decatur, Alabama. The hotel staff is always welcoming, but what really stood out was the exceptional service. A special thank you to Eric and Laren for doing such an outstanding job in the bar and restaurant. Their professionalism, friendly attitude, and attention to detail made every visit enjoyable. They went above and beyond to ensure guests felt welcomed and well taken care of, and their excellent customer service truly enhanced the overall experience. It's employees like Eric and Laren who make a hotel stay memorable. I highly recommend the DoubleTree Decatur and look forward to staying here again in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I come to the Decatur/Huntsville area about twice a month for 2-3 nights each time. I always stay at Double Tree-Decatur every time. It’s mainly because they are always so nice to me, my room is always clean, restaurant staff is the best I’ve seen. But mainly because every staff member always greets me with a smile. When you spend 4-5 hours traveling, that smile means more than you will ever know.
