Americas Best Value Inn

This hotel states it has breakfast but after my card was charged I received an email that due to COVID some benefits may not be available and that was breakfast. Requested ground floor was given 2nd floor. Beer bottle out on the windows along with cigarettes and ash trays. It was a non smoking room but the duvet on the bed had cigarette burns in it and there was no blanket on the bed or in the room. The carpet looked like it needed a good cleaning. There was a 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper that was placed on the top of the holder. The pillows barely had and fullness. The only thing the room had was good pressure in the shower. Don’t expect any shampoo and the littlest piece of soap. No coffee pot in the room either. No way was this room worth over $100 a night.

From our check in to our way out, the staff was lovely. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the "germ free" remote. Originally we were assigned a room near the interstate. A visit to the front desk afforded us a move. We found the breakfast lacking, but we did arrive one hour before it closed.

I got in Friday evening, quickly checked in and was in my room in 5 minutes. the room was clean and smelled fresh. All the right stuff was there - towels, bath mat, soaps, clean and defrosted fridge, clean microwave and a TV with a remote that actually worked. I will definitely stay there again and I recommend it to anyone. I even got quick directions from the manager to a local grocery store and that was spot on.
