HAMPTON INN MOBILE/BELLINGRATH GARDENS

This hotel is just off I-10 near restaurant row, easy on and off the interstate. It was a very clean hotel, nice room and decor, very hot water for shower, and very nice staff who were very professional and polite. Nice breakfast in the morning. Only negative thing about breakfast but it was more of a personal choice. they did not serve hot oatmeal here as most Hamptons do, but they served grits. I enjoy grits but they were a little bland and I only ate a little, much preferring oatmeal. Other than the comment about oatmeal, this hotel was very nice and they gave us a great room rate compared to the other two Hamptons in Mobile, and we greatly appreciated the rate courtesy. If we return to Mobile in the future, we will very much consider this hotel again. Last, we want to recognize "Joyce" who cleaned our room and we hope management reads our review and recognizes Joyce. Our room was inadvertently not cleaned when we returned later in the day, and Joyce was finishing her shift and on the way home, but stopped and cleaned our room without us requesting it. Rooms were very clean,Front desk clerks were very helpful and breakfast wasn’t bad

Overall our stay was about average for what to expect for a Hampton Inn property. The staff was polite and attentive, room was mostly clean but is showing age and the beds were comfortable, though pillows still suck (where are the firmer pillows). The breakfast was good, better then most hotels in this range. They did have an issue with the digital key. Mine kept thinking I was trying to get into the Fitness Center when I was in front of my room. Other then that it was a decent stay for one night stay.
