La Quinta Montgomery Carmichael Road

This is now a Country Inn and Suites, a hotel that I normally trust to go to. The room was clean and good size, I give them that. But unless you want to be up until the late hours of the night do not go here! Our first clue should have been that it was directly across from a hotel that advertised the rooms for $149 for the week. It’s a party hotel, late night people outside who were loud, rap music going until about 1 a.m. The freeway noise was horrible, we think they race cars out there, it sounded like the Daytona 500. Would not recommend this hotel.

Bugs infestation! Stayed 2 nights. Got up with bu bites on my neck and on my arms. Killed 5 roaches. We zipped up our suitcases every day and night. Told the front desk after the first night-- no apologies. Just took our room nu.mber. Had to change rooms upon arrival -- first room smelled like cigarette smoke. Room not properly vacuumed. Provided fresh towels but bed not made. Breakfast staff was friendly.

The reviews on Google were all over the place, so wasn't sure what to expect. Stayed here 1 night and everything was good! The room was clean. The shower was amazing with very hot water and awesome pressure. Loved that the shampoos/conditioners were on the wall. I have really long hair and need a lot, so made it much easier than those tiny bottles. The breakfast was pretty good. They had Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Also had waffles, cereal, muffins, bagels, juice, milk and coffee. I felt safe here. There was an outdoor pool also and a fitness area. Didn't get the time to check it out though. Overall a nice place for a family to get a good night sleep and breakfast. Would stay here again especially for the price.
