Super 8 Motel Opelika

The rooms are very clean and smells great . Their king size beds are huge and comfortable. It’s walking distance to several restaurants. Front desk clerk was very helpful during check in . Will definitely be coming back to stay again really soon.

We stayed here for Auburn homecoming when no other place was available thinking, “well, it might not be luxurious, but it certainly will be clean.” Nope. The place was run-down and dirty. The room was filthy — and I am hardly a neat freak. There was actual dirt and hair (yeah, that kind) all over the bathroom floor. No doubt It hasn’t seen a mopping in a year. I tried to clean it a bit with a washcloth and the washcloth was brown in about three swipes. There was stuff on the toilet seat. The floor of the shower was crusty yellow. We chose to just drive home rather than stay there. I’ll throw in a positive and say the lady at the front desk was nice.

Nice clean room, everything worked fine. Beds and covers were comfy and clean. The housekeepers were friendly and very helpful. Cheri at the front desk was quick with check in and was very polite and professional. She told us popular restaraunts in the area and we went to one she mentioned and loved it! Always great to have service like that! Will be recommending to friends when they travel to town for sports events.
