The Hotel Alyeska At Alyeska Resort

We drove from Anchorage to Alyeska and the drive itself is so scenic and beautiful, there are many scenic view points along the road. The room is clean and spacious with abundant amenities. We were on the 7th floor with very beautiful view of the mountain and the tram. We were in the corner room so it was very quite and peaceful. The resort itself already offers many things to do, I did a short winter creek trail and went up to the mountain top via tram. I enjoyed the nordic spa with different sauna, pools and cold plunges. The spa also has bistro which you can order healthy food and spend more time there. Everyone is super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The gym is spacious and with Peloton bike. Lastly and most importantly, I really appreciate the hotel's onsite restaurants with many vegan options. It was one of my concern as my partner is vegan and we planned to drive to Anchorage every day for food. But surprisingly, we never need to do that. Forte offers vegan breakfast, Tramway cafe offers vegan protein smoothies, ABar has plant based burger, Sakura offers vegan rolls, and the nordic spa has the Thai Chicken bow that you can substitute with Tofu. I really appreciate the thoughtful and healthy vegan options they offered, it's not like some places mentioning they have vegan options and what they offer is just salad.

Amazing (but too short) stay at this property. Lovely resort with gracious staff. Marion at reservations is great and the food and service at the A Bar are both great (kudos to Max!). Definite recommendation from us!

This place is gorgeous! Unfortunately with our tour group, We only stayed one night. The Lobby was decorated beautifully. A word of caution though if you are sensitive to smells. It smelled great - I liked the pine, sandalwood kind of fragrance but it was a lot. Luckily the blueberry festival was going on while we were there so that was fun to checkout. Not a fan of the blueberry coffee though - lol.
