Sea Dell Motel

It was good and very clean, our room was nice as the picture, 2 double beds, tv with cable, internet service, microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. The 2 ladies in the front desk were 10/10 excelent, and the housekeeping girl also nice. The location is good, you have Publix and Walgreens less than half mile, easy walk l. Restaurants all around. The only thing I didn't like is the way our room is in the side street, no fence. Also very pet friendly, that is a plus. The pool was good. You have tables and benches outside the rooms and grills beside the tables, so you can cook out just outside your room.

I am in the Keys several weekends a year, escaping from Miami (where I go for medical treatment). I normally stay at Sun Outdoors in Marathon; however, after their rates went up and amenities tanked, I went looking for another budget-friendly hotel. The Sea Dell fits the bill! The location is great - close to restaurants and a great shopping complex with grocery stores, pharmacy, and gas station. It is a short drive to Knights/Pigeon Key and Bahia Honda (my two favorites) and about halfway between Key Largo and Key West - right in the middle of the Keys. The room I had was spacious, bright, and clean. There was a good size room refrigerator, coffee maker, a small table and two chairs - perfect for sitting and eating, and the bathroom was also quite nice. There are picnic tables and grills outside the rooms - all seemed to be in good repair and covered by umbrellas. There is also laundry on-site; however, I did not make use of that facility this trip. BE AWARE: *Parking is tight and on gravel around the back of the building. Please use care to park in the spot right in front of your room (no fun to come back from a day out and find a car parked crookedly across your limited space). *When you check in, there is a spot to pull into just to the right of the pool. Office door is at the back of the pool. The office is not immediately visible turning in off the road in the afternoon, the way the sun hits the building. *The bathrooms (at least the one in Room 10) do not have outlets. If you need to use a hairdryer or plug in an electric toothbrush, you'll need to use one of the room outlets. *The air conditioner controls are high on the wall. At 5'6, I had to stretch to reach. Aside from these small details, this is a great, budget-friendly hotel for people (like me) who just want a nice place to sleep after spending their days out and about in the Keys.

Small motel, very clean and comfortable at low price for the area. A small swimming pool, seats in front of the rooms to rest in a green setting in front of barbecues. The staff is very friendly, especially a blonde lady
