COPPER QUEEN HOTEL

Don't stay at the Copper Queen hotel. We stayed one night and were charged twice. When I tried to reach out to get the second charge refunded no one at the hotel would even respond to my phone messages or emails. Every time I got an actual human on the phone they told me to call back at a different time and speak to someone else or send an email which I did to no avail. I was never contacted regarding this issue and was never able to speak to anyone who could help me. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and have been notified that the Copper Queen will not refund the second night's charge. This is an unacceptable and unprofessional way to do business. The charge per night was $200.

Terrible. I don't know what happened, but you can't get a hold of anybody in the place looks completely different than what it used to. No bar no restaurant. And don't expect anybody to give you a call back if you have issues. They need to close this place down.

I was so excited to book the Julia Lowell room. I stayed here maybe 14 years ago and it was such a great room. Well, whatever they did with the furniture or the "upgrades" are terrible. It looks just like any other hotel room. I was so heartbroken over the renovations. I paid $250 for the room and I'm guess it's just because it's deemed a haunted room. It def wasn't for the esthetics. If I would've known what the room looks like now compared to back then I would've book a standard rooom. I'm not sure what happened and why they redid everything. Room looks like a motel six room. It used to be romantic. If there hasn't been any activity in that room I'm guessing Julia checked out. I would've. Just a waste of money. It was expensive bday. The first pics are of what the room used to look like compared to now. Maybe they can't afford nice stuff anymore.
