The Iron Horse Inn

Front desk person early was less than friendly, but we were early and told no check in before 4 PERIOD, and when we came back at 3:55 she was already checking someone in. Also BE SURE to note, rooms are on ground and second floors. There is no elevator, so if you have any issues climbing stairs do NOT take a 2nd floor room as the stairs are narrow and steep. Person who checked us in was very nice and accommodating. If we had to base things solely on the original attendant we would say DO NOT STAY here, but she was the only “negative Nelly” we’ve experienced in this lovely town. The room while small is very clean and affordable. Further, this is an old building, the AC in rooms are window units and keep the room cool. No coffee in rooms, The “coffee room” is off the courtyard and full of K-cup pods with a large (industrial sized) Keurig. Ice machine and clean water machines are also in the coffee room. All of this is upon arrival. Will update should anything change but overall, we find this an exceptional value in 2026. Also the surrounding businesses are fun and friendly! The Eureka Room just down the block is a fun and friendly place for a brew, a wine tasting or some 21st century mead and some very cool art work!

Basic accommodations. Room was very dark, but comfortable. Great location in town.

Cute rooms with an inviting courtyard for socializing and picnics. Very clean! Comfortable and quiet. Great place. Definitely would cone back!
