Great place to stay right in the canyon rim Good rooms with everything you need for a great stay

Steps from the canyon rim. Elk and Bighorn Sheep outside. Parking is first come first served, but drop off luggage and car and use highly efficient busses to get around. Good price for clean, no frills room with world’s most incredible view! Nice shared lounge room with couches and games. Decent food options in the village. El Tovar restaurant next door was excellent!

The accommodation is located in the middle of the park. This is very simply furnished, already somewhat antiquated. But one does not expect modern accommodation here either. There are too few parking spaces for the number of accommodations. The restaurant in the main hotel, where you also have to check in, is recommended. The steakhouse on the other side of the accommodation is also good. All in all, a great accommodation. However, the room rates on site are extremely high, which would not be justified. We had a room on the 1st. Floor facing the steakhouse. That was ok regarding the view of the canyon.
