Motel 6 Lakeside

This is the worst Motel 6 I have ever stayed in. Took giving me 3 different rooms before I finally had a room I could stay in. The bed and/or bed sheets caused me to itch almost immediately. Made me wonder if there were bed bugs or something. I checked the bed multiple times looking for anything that might be "bugs" and did not see anything. I even got up in the middle of the night and took a bath because I was itching so badly. No amenities at all. Coffee was in lobby but after the experience of this place wasn't about to drink their coffee. Then I get home and check my bank account and there's an additional $8.00 charge. Called and asked what this $8.00 charge, it is a motel service fee and booking.com does not collect that. NO ONE tells you this when you make the reservation or check in. I would not recommend this place to my least favorite person in the world much less to someone I cared about.

Front desk man was very rude When I asked what the $ 8.00 service fee was for he couldn't give me an answer so watch your bill. They do allow pets but have a pet fee $10.00 a night do not give a pet deposit if you can't afford to never get it back and customer service does not acknowledge this motel.

If I could give a zero star review; I would. This place is ran by an Indian family that is absolutely rude and will scam you. I stayed with my dog and they said I needed to pay a $150 deposit for him; which I had no problem with. I stayed in the room which the blankets were stained and I was so sketched out that I didn’t even sleep under the blankets or touch ANYTHING in the room. I felt like bugs were crawling over me all night. It’s been over 2 weeks and I am yet to get my deposit back. I have contacted them many times and they keep saying they had refunded me and lie about what day they sent the money back and said they sent an email. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and will continue to let the public know to NEVER STAY HERE. I have also contacted the Mojave County Health department. UPDATE: I felt like there were bed bugs on my bed and after reading the review directly below mine on Google I am SURE there was. DO NOT STAY HERE. I also am now reading the other reviews of others being scammed by these people for their “deposits”. Absolute trash of an establishment and people.
