I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was serious enough that I feel obligated to warn others.
To be clear, the room itself was nice, the stay otherwise would have been enjoyable, and staff generally did a good job with day-to-day service, including housekeeping and refilling in-room dispensers. On the surface, this appears to be a well-run property.
However, none of that matters if the rooms are not secure.
During my stay, my hotel room was burglarized, and my iPad was stolen. The room I was assigned had a window screen that was not properly secured. While I was away in the evening (around 7:00 PM), someone was able to remove the loose screen and enter through the window.
When I returned around 11:00 PM, I walked into my room to discover my iPad missing. No one from the hotel contacted me, and no police report had been filed—despite the fact that staff later admitted they saw the person fleeing with my iPad. Shockingly, the police were not called at the time of the incident. I was the one who had to call law enforcement hours later, by which point the situation was far beyond recoverable.
What made this worse was the hotel’s response:
• Staff attempted to shift blame onto me, saying the window was open—rather than acknowledging that a guest room should be secure even if a window can be opened.
• A properly maintained and secured window screen would have prevented this break-in.
• The hotel resisted issuing a full refund, despite the clear security failure and delayed response.
Again, the room itself was nice, and routine service was fine—but those positives do not outweigh a serious safety failure. Guests should not have to worry about someone prying a screen off a window and entering their room, nor should they discover a burglary hours later with no prior notification.
I expect hotels to provide basic security and immediate action when a crime occurs on their property. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. I would strongly caution anyone considering staying at this property—especially if safety matters to you.

The bathroom on our room, 117, needs work on the bathroom. The floor molding is terrible and show signs of mold and was broken away from the wall. The host at the front desk very efficient and our maid was awesome. After checking in we chose to leave our car in the lot for fear of losing available parking as the lot was small.

Beware. 1 star only because the bed was comfortable. This is not a reputable business. The conditions of the motel (not hotel) were not what was represented . Upon close inspection, after the fact, the reviews are constructed identical and overstated and appear to be constructed. This was a refurbished motel being advertised as a hotel, with metal pipe constructed into clothes racks and attached to a wall, pealing wallpaper, no real amenities other than vending machines, picture is far from like the room presented. I only stayed one night, experienced endless night of police sirens and arguments outside my room door. The door had no security slide and was hung awkwardly in the frame with gaps and not sealed. No real security and non-guests wandering the grounds and trying to enter motel rooms and checking car doors. Expedia 8/10 rating is overstated. I was willing to overlook all of this … however I found a charge on my AMEX after the fact for damages that never occurred and I was never notified by the hotel.
